Od socjologii do kulturoznawstwa – badania ilościowe jako rama dla jakościowej analizy pokolenia Z (na przykładzie serialu „Sex Education”)

Abstrakt

Artykuł prezentuje przegląd badań nad różnicami pokoleniowymi, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem pokolenia Z. Analiza łączy perspektywę intersekcjonalną z potrzebą uogólnień, koncentrując się na wpływie nowych technologii, migracji, przemian w relacjach międzyludzkich, systemie edukacji oraz w zaangażowaniu politycznym i aktywistycznym młodego pokolenia. Tekst wskazuje zarówno zalety, jak i ograniczenia badań nad pokoleniami, proponując ich wykorzystanie jako ramy dla jakościowych analiz kulturoznawczych. Studium zawiera również analizę serialu Sex Education jako studium przypadku, ukazującą kulturowe reprezentacje doświadczeń generacyjnych mechanizmów międzypokoleniowej komunikacji. Całość podkreśla, w jaki sposób globalne trendy przenikają się z lokalnymi uwarunkowaniami, kształtując współczesne doświadczenia generacyjne oraz prowokując do pogłębionej refleksji nad dynamiką zjawisk kulturowych i społecznych.

Magdalena Stoch - Uniwersytet Komisji Edukacji Narodowej w Krakowie

absolwentka filologii polskiej ze specjalnością nauczycielską (Uniwersytet Pedagogiczny im. KEN w Krakowie), studiów doktoranckich z zakresu literaturoznawstwa (Uniwersytet Pedagogiczny) oraz studiów podyplomowych z dyplomacji kulturalnej (Uniwersytet Jagielloński). Doktor habilitowany nauk humanistycznych w dyscyplinie literaturoznawstwo. Od 2013 zatrudniona w Katedrze Mediów i Badań Kulturowych Instytutu Filologii Polskiej Uniwersytetu Komisji Edukacji Narodowej, obecnie na stanowisku profesora uczelni. Jej badania koncentrują się na reprezentacji mniejszości, w tym społeczności LGBTQ+, we współczesnych tekstach kultury i mediach, a także na edukacji antydyskryminacyjnej i medialnej, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem krytycznej analizy mediów. Analizuje literackie przedstawienia osób nieheteronormatywnych i transpłciowych w polskiej literaturze młodzieżowej i serialach, queerowe subwersje w kulturze popularnej oraz kwestie traumy i queerowania tożsamości w literaturze współczesnej. Interesuje się również krytyczną analizą przekazów medialnych w dobie postprawdy oraz edukacją medialną i jej rolą w kształtowaniu świadomych odbiorców kultury.
